Our Methodology
Information Sources
We gather candidate information from multiple public sources:
- •Official campaign websites and materials
- •Public candidate forums and debates
- •Published interviews and media coverage
- •Official city and electoral records
Neutral Presentation
All candidate positions are presented in non-partisan language without editorial commentary. We do not rate, rank, or endorse candidates. We include sourced quotes where available to let candidates speak in their own words. Our comparison tool presents positions side-by-side without judgment.
Accuracy & Updates
We regularly verify and update candidate information. If a candidate believes their information is inaccurate, they can contact us for review. We timestamp when profiles were last updated so voters know how current the information is.
Candidate Submissions & Verification
Candidates and their campaigns can submit profile updates directly through our submission form. This ensures candidate information is current and accurate.
- •Submissions require a verified campaign email address and/or official campaign website link
- •All submissions are reviewed for completeness and accuracy before publishing
- •Campaign-provided information is labeled "Submitted by campaign" for transparency
Campaign submissions do not imply endorsement. All information is presented neutrally regardless of source. Candidates who purchase enhanced profiles will see an "Enhanced profile (paid)" badge, which provides additional visibility but does not affect the factual content of their positions.
Sponsorship & Disclosure Policy
Transparency is essential to our mission. Here's how we fund this resource:
Advertising
We accept advertising from businesses and organizations. All ads are clearly labeled as "Sponsored" or "Advertisement." Advertisers have no influence over our editorial content.
Enhanced Candidate Profiles
Candidates may pay for enhanced profile features including additional visibility, video content, and extended Q&A sections. These paid upgrades are always clearly disclosed with an "Enhanced Profile" badge. The underlying information about positions and platforms remains non-partisan and factual regardless of payment.
